Description
Why this pairing
D3 and K2 do related jobs, so we pair them in one softgel. Vitamin D helps your body absorb calcium. Vitamin K2 (as MK-7) helps activate the proteins that direct calcium toward your bones. Taking them together is a sensible, well-established pairing.
No proprietary blends. No filler dosing. The exact amount of each active is printed on the label, and a third-party Certificate of Analysis (COA) is available for every batch.
- Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) supports calcium absorption, bone strength, immune function, and muscle function.
- Vitamin K2 (MK-7) is a co-factor that activates vitamin K–dependent proteins and supports the body’s normal use of calcium and bone and cardiovascular health. MK-7 is the longer-acting form of K2.
These are structure/function statements about how the nutrients work in a healthy body — not a claim to treat any condition.
How to use
Take 1 softgel daily with a meal containing some fat, for best absorption. If you want to dial in your dose, a 25-hydroxyvitamin D blood test from your doctor is the honest way to know where you stand.
Who should be cautious
- If you take a blood thinner (warfarin or similar), talk to your doctor before starting any vitamin K supplement.
- If you have kidney disease, high blood calcium, sarcoidosis, or take heart/diuretic medication, check with your clinician before supplementing vitamin D.
- If you are pregnant or nursing, talk to your doctor first.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose; fat-soluble vitamins can build up over time.
